Lisa Britton (b.1983) is a visual artist living and working in Seattle, Washington. Britton works in various media, including painting, drawing and paillettes. Influenced by whimsical images of nature, her art often features fauna from the Leporidae family, rainbows, and flowers, creating vibrant and enchanting scenes. Britton's work often depicts these elements in intricate detail, inviting viewers into a world where natural beauty and imaginative storytelling intertwine. Lisa Britton received her BFA in painting from Arizona State University. Following her graduation, she spent several months in Berlin, Germany, where she interned with renowned photographer Isabelle Graeff and esteemed painter Ross Walker. In collaboration with fellow artist Alejandra Orozco, Britton co-founded the platform "Pretty Girls Making Cool Shit." This venture aims to be both entertaining and informative, while also creating a supportive and empowering community for women identifying artists.
