Mission

The mission of CEEATTLE Startup Bakery is to create a launchpad for founders to try again and again, no matter their age or stage in life. In the face of daunting odds — with 90% of startups failing within the first year and only 35% surviving beyond 10 years  — CEEATTLE is dedicated to helping founders navigate the challenges and sacrifices required to succeed.

The startup journey is one of the hardest things in the world, and even with venture capital backing, 75% of those startups still fail. By supporting founders from pre-revenue stages through to product-market fit and Series A funding, we aim to improve the chances of success in an industry where 38% of startups fail due to cash flow problems.

With more than 58% of startups launching with less than $25,000, CEEATTLE provides accessible resources to ensure founders can stay in the game and reach those critical milestones.

Cee Ng, founder of CEEATTLE Startup Bakery, has conducted user interviews to define the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and identify key stakeholders involved in the decision-making process, ensuring that the business model is founder-friendly in terms of ownership and operator outcomes. These stakeholders come from Cee’s extensive personal and professional network within the founder ecosystem and Fortune 500 companies, ensuring that the product effectively addresses real business challenges.

The core challenge Cee seeks to address is enabling startups to survive and thrive as they navigate the critical transition from the “valley of death” (pre-revenue stage) to achieving product-market fit (PMF) and securing Series A funding. With her extensive expertise in small business ownership, a comprehensive understanding of startup expenses, and experience in global IT and holding company operations through enterprise stakeholder committees, Cee is uniquely positioned to make a significant impact.

Recognizing the importance of being set up correctly from the start, CEEATTLE prioritizes enterprise security across all aspects of every startup. Protecting users, partners, and customers from bad actors is essential, as one incident can devastate an entire startup in the blink of an eye—it’s essentially business suicide. Through the Startup Bakery, Cee aims to lead by example, demonstrating what enterprise buyers should look for when evaluating vendors. This perspective not only guides founders but also highlights areas they may be deprioritizing, which are crucial from an enterprise buyer’s point of view, especially when securing that pivotal contract that can propel them to Series A.

Her goal is to reach 400,000 startup founders, empowering them to concentrate on articulating the value of their products to their new beneficiaries: paying customers. This effort will also generate the necessary proof and evidence of market activity, fostering fresh investments and encouraging valued partners and customers to continue supporting the founders’ journey to the next level of their startup endeavors.
